Dr. Koh Shuh Jen
B.D.S (Singapore)
Dr. Koh is a dedicated and passionate dentist with over 40 years of experience in the field. She graduated from NUSS in 1983 and has provided comprehensive dental care to her patients ever since.
In 1984, she established Orchard Dental Surgery to provide holistic dental care to her patients. Her passion for dentistry has never wavered, and she takes pride in her work daily. Over the years, Dr. Koh has attended numerous courses in Orthodontics and Implantology, including a 2-year part-time course in Progressive Orthodontic Seminars, Dr. Lee's Ortho course, and Invisalign course. She also trained under the world-renowned Dr. Hom Lay Huang for 3i Implants, which were popular then. More recently, she has switched to Osstem Implants and has been supervising students doing live surgery in 2018 and 2019.
Dr. Koh's unwavering commitment to excellence and lifelong learning has been instrumental in building her practice. She takes pride in her ability to mentor others with a passion for excellence, ensuring that her patients receive the best possible care. Her patients are a testament to her expertise; some have received treatment for over thirty years. Some of her patients who were treated when they were young now bring in their children for treatment.

Dr. Stephanie Yap

Orchard Dental Surgery proudly welcomes Dr Stephanie Yap, an exceptional dental professional with expertise in general and aesthetic dentistry. With over ten years of experience in private practice, Dr Yap has the pleasure of building smiles and confidence in her patients of all ages. She believes all her patients deserve a smile they are confident to present and function in for a lifetime.
Dr. Yap graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the National University of Singapore, where she presented a research topic as part of her Undergraduate Research Opportunities Programme (UROP) and received the 2nd runner-up award. She is a distinguished member of the Aesthetic Dentistry Society Singapore (ADSS), Singapore Dental Association (SDA), and Singapore Dental Council (SDC).
Early in her career, Dr. Yap worked as a dental officer at Alexandra Hospital, Jurong Medical Centre, and National University Hospital Services. She was also appointed as co-charge of the Singhealth Dental Cluster and served as the clinic in charge during her tenure in Singhealth Polyclinics (Geylang and Queenstown).
Dr. Yap is also invested in continual education in the surgical and prosthetic field of implant dentistry and combination aligner therapy with minimally invasive restorative dentistry.
